Josh & Megan - A Spring Tuckahoe Plantation Engagement Session

Being a Virginia wedding photographer is a lot of checking the weather every few hours in the hopes that it changes and making backup plans in case it doesn’t. Brett & Cindy - a Virginia State Capitol Engagement

Most of my brides, I have never met until our first meeting at a coffee shop, over FaceTime or sometimes at their engagement session. I met Cindy when we were in high school, and she was one of my high school colorguard captains! These two were so much fun to hang out with and I cannot get over how amazing Emily’s outfits were on her!! I had a blast with them, laughing and talking so not only did we end up with amazing photos but we had a great time too!

Seb & Jame - Jefferson Memorial Cherry Blossom DC Engagement

It was a beautiful morning at the Jefferson Memorial. The weather the weekend before had been raining and I was praying that the cherry blossoms would still be in bloom the following weekend. Jame and Sebastian met me on the steps of the Jefferson and I was so excited to meet them in person! They woke up early on a Sunday morning and fought DC traffic to meet me during cherry blossom season on the morning that also happened to be a 10k marathon right on the Tidal Basin! Despite the traffic, the marathon and all the tourists, it was absolutely magical.
