John & Shannan - A Jefferson Memorial Cherry Blossom Engagement

This has been one of the most fun engagement sessions I’ve ever done not just because it was at the Jefferson Memorial during Cherry Blossom season (but let’s be honest, it’s a big reason it was so fun!) but it was because I loved hanging out with this couple! Jason & Maggi - A Midlothian Mines Spring Engagement Session

The first engagement session of 2019 is here! I loved spending time with Jason and Maggi! They wanted to incorporate the outdoors and wanted especially to make sure it was dog friendly so they could bring their two fur babies, Jasmine and Gunner! Literally, I am living my best photographer life when I get to have dogs at engagement sessions. So a Midlothian Mines engagement session was the perfect spot for them and although the day was slightly cooler and windier than we anticipated (thanks, Virginia!) the weather got warmer and it was beautiful throughout the time we had together.

Brian & Nicole - Forest Hill Park Fall Engagement Session

So while planning locations for Brian and Nicole’s engagement session, we knew we wanted it somewhere outdoors and with water. After some research, I came across Forest Hill Park and it marked off the outdoors and water aspects along with having gorgeous views. I got there on a beautiful perfect Sunday morning and it was STUNNING. The fall foliage has really been so gorgeous here in the Richmond area and it was the perfect day and place for their fall engagement session.
