Madeline - Senior Portraits
This is my favorite senior from the Class of 2018 and I may be just a tiny itty bitty bit bias because this is my sister! She's just a couple years younger than I am, my little big sister, and she's about to graduate from Longwood University!
I remember when she was accepted to Longwood and when we moved her into her very first dorm apartment on campus in Farmville. This was a little strange and hard for everyone, she was the first one out of the four of us kids to move out and live away from the family. I was attending a community college close to home and our two younger siblings were still in high school.
Truth be told, I was kinda glad she was off in Farmville. We grew a better relationship because we weren't all on top of each other anymore! When you've spent the majority of your life attached to your siblings, not gonna lie, there can be plenty of sibling fights haha! But I got to enjoy her company. I went to visit her at college, I'd even spend the night once or twice, sleeping on the floor or sofa of her dorm room. On Sunday, I got to take her senior portraits here in Richmond.
Madeline's going to graduate with a major in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. Because she's an overachiever. (Get it gurrrrl!) And God knows there's so many other things she participates in that I can't remember all of it. But I know that one day, she's going to be one incredible lawyer. During her senior portraits, we had to do some at the Virginia State Capitol building. We noted that we saw a big courthouse directly infront of the building so we made sure to get some shots of that in the background since that's where she'll probably be one day!
So we'll pop some champagne and celebrate this soon to be graduate!
