Tyler & Kennedy - A Glen Allen Estate Wedding | Glen Allen, Virginia
I met Kennedy and her gorgeous Mama at Starbucks for a bridal consultation and I left feeling like the luckiest wedding photographer ever because they were so warm and friendly, the way Kennedy talked about her fiance Tyler was so obvious in how deeply she loved him and how happy Andrea, her mama, looked while talking about her daughter’s wedding showed all the love this family has for each other.
And after months of emails, a summer bridal session and two hurricanes later… their wedding day was finally here!! After the destruction caused by the tornadoes Hurricane Florence gave Virginia, I was constantly looking at the radar and praying that whatever we got leftover from Hurricane Michael would be very mild and minimal. Thankfully, the storm blew through earlier in the week so on their wedding day, the weather was PERFECT. And I literally couldn’t have asked for better weather: 60’s temperatures (FINALLY!), a nice breeze, and NO HUMIDITY. And all Virginia photographers and brides said hallelujah!
Tyler and Kennedy had the most incredible wedding day and I loved being able to celebrate with them. There were so many amazing details about their wedding that I loved: Kennedy’s first look with her bridesmaids, her dad and Tyler. Their fantastic bridal party - Tyler’s best man was also his dad! He pulled double duty and was the best Dad/Best Man I’ve ever seen lol! During their ceremony, they planted a tree with dirt from each of their families’ gardens and her talented bridesmaid played the violin. And of course, how GORGEOUS their sunset portraits were. Everything was a dream and needless to say, I had a super hard time narrowing down favorites. So here’s some (a lot) of my favorites from their big day. Thank you so much, Kennedy and Tyler for letting me be a part of your incredible day.
