As I reflect on 2020, I realize truly how wild of a year it really was. I was pregnant for a good half of 2020 and on maternity leave and there was, of course, a global pandemic. BUT I was still able to spend some time with some couples as we captured and celebrated their engagement!

Engagement sessions are so fun to capture and they really show the couples’ personalities and a little bit of their story. 2020 had me visiting Maymont several times and each time didn’t disappoint! From cherry blossoms and tulips in March with Greer and David, to an explosion of colors and flowers in the fall with Nadine and Josh, and Erin and Michael! And I got to explore Shockoe Bottom a little more with Taylor and Jordan just a couple weeks ago for their winter engagement!

Richmond is really such a great city for engagement sessions with so many diverse locations and no matter the season, magic still happens.

I’m so thankful I got to spend time with four of these amazing couples and honestly I had wayyyy too hard of a time narrowing down my favorites so I kind of didn’t try to narrow it down 😉 Enjoy the Best of Engagements 2020 and all 2847593 of my favorite images!!
